Trilingualism
There are three main languages here in Bengaluru (aka Bangalore); English, Hindi and Kannada. Kannada is the local language of Karnataka, Bengaluru’s home state. Almost everybody speaks English (for an exception see “Motorcycles and Hot Water”) which makes our life easier but sometimes they have such a strong accent you can only understand every third word. Most signs have just one or two languages although we found an example with three.

HI!!! OH, I miss you so much! school is so much quieter without you! it looks like you are having a lot of fun over there, even if you do have a ton of work. I don't think that is fair at all. You are learning so much more over there about culture, language, diversity, and the "real world" while we are learning about how to define a rhombus or why there is no accent in the word "responsabilidad". Anyway, keep havin fun and tell Sophia I said hi.
